To say that this pickelhaube has problems is like saying nothing.Skin like reinforced concrete.No leadingbo seam.To make the repair even more difficult, the previous owner covered the leather with glue.Normally a drama,but the price encouraged me to buy.

I no longer count the hours how long the repair takes,but it will still be the longest in my history.Rear spine I straightened with a primitive device that I created for this repair.A hammer and a piece of gouged wood were also needed for straightening.The next layer of primer is drying.

I'm slowly finishing my work. All that's left to do is apply a layer of shellac and permanently assemble the parts.It was the most difficult task I have ever undertaken.

Thank you for your kind words, I learned patience by fishing with a rod for fish living in still waters and rivers such as roach, bream, carp, etc.
