And another big tome from Jim Turinetti. Color printing and a gazillion pictures. I have not gone through the entire book but Jim certainly crammed a lot of data into this thing. Looks as though this would be quite good especially if you are starting. Yes I still use his “field guide” extensively.
I am sure somewhere in there there are mistakes/issues but my goodness there is certainly no lack of documentation here. I am not one to be called a “hyena in the wood line” castigating this with faint praise. There is a hell of a lot of information here and pictures to boot. Color. Jim certainly does not stay out of the fire but my goodness there is a great deal of work involved here–I really need to go through it in detail. He even goes through and explains the battles around the honorary battle mentions on some of the wappen!
okay my quick question off the top–in these pictures of married couples you comment about the color of the wedding dress . perhaps the answer is in the big book but could you expand on that? Great job Jim.
