Brian ;
H R 4 von Schill officer that I owned in the past .
This pretty much shows you what the inside of an H R officer looks like .
Sometimes the leather band is scalloped where it meets the silk liner
also the leather band is often of other color leather .
However , I have never seen another label like that on the top
inside of the silk . This was from the Jacques Pries collection
and it was choice .

Excellent picture Steve, thanks for posting that. We should also grab that label for our makers/sellers list. Could you post that onthe makers list as well?

Brian ;
Yes I could
but I should point out that label is for the name of the regiment " von Schill "
and the 1741 is the founding date of the regiment .
So, IMO it is not a makers label
unless someone can correct me ?
Let me know

Brian, that is the name of the regiment, not a maker.

Husaren-Regt. von Schill (1.Schlesisches) Nr.4 (Ohlau) VI Armee Korps

Beautiful officer's Pelzmütze Steve. What furry dreams are made of... :la:

I wanted to post photos of my former H R 4 officers display .
Sorry the photo is old and not the best quality but it
is the only one that I have that shows the group together .
The Parade Attila was the personal property of
Prinz Ernst Wolrad of Schaumburg - Lippe
That piece went in a deal to the Brian Sanders collection
where it is today . If you own or buy his book on Husaren
Vol. I you can see high quality photos of it in great color .

Last and maybe least ; all else considered .
My H R 4 " Von Schill " veterans flag . I spotted this when the seller was bringing it in the back door
at the 2006 Max Show in Indy . I got over quick I could , asked the price and bought it
The front side is made much in the same pattern as the old von Schill Husaren Standarte .
This is still in the collection .

Really nice grouping of your HR 4 pieces, especially when you have the veterans flag as well!
