It has no makers or regimental numbers can I have your opinions please?

Forgot to say the holes for the Wappen are 100mm apart ? And the helmet size is small marked 53 inside.

Welcome Dave. I believe the Reichs kokarde to be a repro or at least repainted. The spike base brads are also reproductions due to the fact that the prongs are copper, they should be brass. The brass grommets in the front of the shell are positioned for the original helmet plate that was put on it when made. To me the spacing of the holes indicates that this was a Prussian Guard helmet plate not the Prussian line infantry which is on it now. Last, there should be a black painted tin disc on the inside of the helmet supporting the spike.

Thank you for help b.loree . You have confirmed what I though I am new to collecting Pickelhaubes so you help is invaluable.
The body and the brass spine are the only original parts. It will be a new project for me to get original parts to restore it
Thanks again

David

The top part is kind of weird, but maybe it's a matter of a bad photo? I send photos for comparison.Regards
