Hello everyone,
I'm looking for help finding any Information on a Leutnant Lothar Paasch of Grenadier Rgt 12.
So far, I can only find that he was lightly wounded.
The reason I'm asking is that I have in my collection his medals and award documents for the Iron Cross 1. and 2. class. I would like to find and if possible, authenticate the dates that are listed on the documents in an official source from the period.
Also, any other information would be greatly appreciated.
I would also like to know, if possible, the name of the Major who signed the documents sadly the collector who had these items in their collection had them framed and displayed in too much light over the years causing the ink and signatures to fade more than is ideal.
Some members may be familiar with the 12th Brandenburg Grenadiers from Walther Bloem's world famous book The Advance from Mons 1914. If not, you must read his book, it's an excellent view into the period.

Thanks in advance. John Josef
