As if care was taken when dressing that at least the man with the Prussian helmet received a „Hessian buckle“ so that he did not get completely lost at a „Hessian native“Thanks gents.
In case you wonder what that Prussian type helmet is doing there , it has a stamp of the 18th BA. and thus used by a Hessian regiment. As we can see in period pictures , they use to mix very often.
