We visited Belgium on 2010 or so, it was beautiful and we had a GREAT time with the people who were kind and welcoming. I don't blame them one bit for their attitude.
In 2012 we visited my cousin in Wroclaw Poland, which was forgotten by the English and French at the start of the war, hammered by the Germans AND Russians in WWII. She said in her country there is a feeling of forgiveness for the German people of today and a wariness about neo-nazis (I got the feeling that they would be killed in Poland), but not a chance of ever forgetting what was done. For the Soviets, there is no forgiveness... yet. I never talked to her about collecting and she seemed disinterested in anything to do with the war, but was interested in MY military service since I have several cousins and uncles on her side who fought in WWII for Poland, but don't know if they were on the Soviet or English/Polish side.
For you Putin is much worse than Hitler??? Don't listen to the American propaganda. [-X [-X this is a virtual enemy. And about Polish forgivening. They forgive that who have money and where can to earn profit. While Russia allow to earn profit from herself - no one problem. Half of Europe have dependense from US paper money, and it is very sadly...as a sadly to read all these your posts.
