Dear members,

I am mainly collectiong Officer Pickelhaube but a friend of mine is asking for opinions on this helmet :
I have identified it as a 1867 Pickelhaube with a bad spike, so I would say it is a put together helmet.
The Kokarden are also fakes ( according to me)

Am I right ? I would be very happy to get your opinion on that one.

Thanks a lot

You are right. The base, the spike without pearling and perhaps also the eagle come from a more recent model. Unfortunately there are few 1867 models left intouched since today.
Zeb.

Yes, it's an unmodified M67 (in '71, the rear spine was returned).
Quite easy to restore the details it should never have left. To do this, simply swap the M87 point without Perlring, with a good M67 point, larger in size, and with Perlring. Next, this M95 line eagle needs to be removed, with an M60 screw-nut, since the M60 fasteners have been destroyed.
