Crown Prince Wilhelm was placed on June 6, 1905 a la suite of the Seebattalion. I think at that time he was a lieutenant colonel or a colonel.

I checked 1910-1911 his rank was major. I should be looking for a pair of major's epaulettes to complete the uniform.

It make the most sense that a pair of epaulettes been made together with the uniform. But there's no buttons on the tunic shoulder, thus I don't know how can them be attached. Was there a special design/model?
I also never see any photo of Kronprinz wearing the Seebataillon waffenrock.
