I agree with Jeff, it looks legit and obviously private purchase piece, so no marks, as Jeff has said.

Helmut Weitze has a Wachmeister for this regiment, dated 1888, on this past Friday's update.
 
I think I'll buy it then—although the fur hat is very expensive, but oh well, we'll see; a peaked cap would be fine too.
 
I think it’s going to be a huge challenge if I decide to buy this—finding everything without the fur hat, since those are becoming scarce and expensive, especially looking at Weitze's prices.
 
Maybe it's the photo but the lining looks much brighter than the bottom and the outside. Maybe the liner was replaced at some time over the last 125 plus years that would explain the lack of markings.

Or it could be a theater piece from 100 plus years ago. From where I'm sitting it's all speculation at this point.

It's so much better to have such items in your hands for a very close inspection. If it's cheap it always worth a chance. Nothing ventured nothing gained as they say. (y)
