Here I want to introduce a part of my interests. It is my collection of helmet plates. Some in perfect condition, some in poor. But I love all of them. 8)

Yes, I don't think there is anything strange. But the methods of attachment for the Hessian seems to have varied a lot. Some are horizontal some are diagonal and your pictures show the backside very well.

Some plates from Kingdom of Wurttemberg. The deer horns is the weakest place in these plates.

Here is my first officer with incorrect (but original) horns.
