A find from a litle flea market near Freiburg, black forest, Germany.

A leather case with,
one schoulder board,a fotograph,a pocket knive,a tobako or snuff box, a glas bottle and two glases. It looks like a little time capsule.

Best regards

I have never seen a kit like this for sale, but if I did, I'd buy it.
You were very lucky to have been able to stumble across it, and buy it!
A great piece of history.

Regards, Coert.

Mike that is a very nice grouping - congratulations!
Here is a Sachsiche Lande Gendarmerie city of Zittau police-issue Dreyse pistole

Hello,
I am not the specialist on shoulder straps. But this could be a possibility. It`s just one strap an one star seems to be missing. I ask myself, is the second shoulder strap missing, or was it already this single piece . Something like a memory or souvenir.

Best regards Mike

I have the Zittau Polizei Pickelhaube and here is a view of it. Nice Saxon LG pistol that goes along well with my helmet.

It seems to me that this knife with two notches was produced after World War II. I have two World War II knives, a Solingen with a wolf's head and a Solingen bonsa. Maybe I'm wrong? One knife is undated.

Hello,
you have a nice Pantograph knife. I think they are produced previosly WWII , but they are still made until today.

One of the makers was ERMA/KASTOR Solingen ( and the D.R.G.M mark ). They marked it on the blade

Best Regards
