That's also an idea I like very much! I thought about doing the same a while ago, presenting the medal bars I have like that, but I think my 2 cats would also see them as toy's to start playing with, so I didn't do that. The 2 leave my helmets well alone, but those medalbars would be the challenge they can't resist.

Yes you never know what will catch a cat’s interest. Mine looks like she is plotting something in this picture.

Received the spike studs from Amy today and now it is back as it should be. I even had the older original Bavarian chinstrap, which is now on it.

Have a good quality repro Bavarian kokarde for now.

That looks good but I spotted something again lol the chinstrap on your bavarian has early fittings of the early chinstrap but the lug is not the correct one. I will take pics tonight to show u what I mean.

Yes I remember you telling me that a while back. This one must have been a wartime modification as everything looks period.
