The material used is water with vinegar in a ratio of 10:1,a piece of leather and a carpenter's squeeze.Pickelhaube moisten from the inside with a solution of water and vinegar and squeeze the material.After a few days the skin forms.

Could you please also explain how to fix the shape of a rear visor with bent corners? What would you use to hold it in position while drying?

Sandy I have made some sheet metal patterns and I straighten on them.I have made sheets for all the headgear of the German empire in different sizes.One sheet goes inside,and the other outside.The leather must be moistened.
