Absolutely, but I only have five or six photos of GR89, I will find time to post the rest of them out soon.

A recent arrival. Several of the prisoners in the photo were from Grenadier-Regiment Nr.89, and the card was mailed to Wessentin (Lübz), Mecklenburg-Schwerin by a Heinrich Genkel.

Thank you for these photos. Here is my entry:
First a note:
the helmet of the photo is curiously a helmet of the Strelitz, in view of the front plate, but... with a fluted tip... of the Schwerin!!!
An anomaly...genuine. Indeed, the helmets of the II/89GR (Strelitz) had the standard Prussian tip.

Here is my II/GR89, with its good smooth tip. It is a "troop" bomb, raised "Offizier", when the Feldwebel (nominative helmet "Pause") was raised to the rank of 0ffizierstellvertreter, at the front.The cocades are brocaded by the "officer M15" trunnions. No risk of losing them.

These non-regulatory "curiosities" can only be explained by the urgency of the mobilization, and/or the circumstances of war.

Concernant les casques Schwerin... je n'ai pas (encore) les modèles M95 et M15... mais j'ai le M1868 (sans bourrelet arrière et avec la cocarde spécifique) et le M91 (avec jugulaire M91) 2 ont la spécifique pointe "tulipe". Le point culminant cannelé n'est arrivé qu'en 1895. Une photo d'époque, du FR90. Les "actifs" ont la pointe cannelée M68, les "réservistes" ont la pointe cannelée M95.
