NCO or trooper helmet from the Garde-Fußartillerie-Regt.

I'm looking for a Haarbusche to go with this helmet. If you have an original who is compatible with this helmet, please send me a message.

Hello Frontenac,

difficult to find a good model. It is necessary that the hairs of the Busch arrive just at the height of the bottom of the cockades, or of the circumference of the schell at the level of the seams of visors and neck cover, that the color of the trichter is the same, (here brass) and that the thread male of the Trichter, corresponds to that of the ball.
Finally, the horsehair will be white.

Hello Clovis,

So finding a needle in a haystack.

Unfortunately that’s the case. The problem is that the length of the hair was given with 30 cm and the funnel was modified or spacers were added when the helmet size required it.

Richard, as Thierry stated, finding a missing part like a Trichter, spike, Kugel etc. can be very difficult and time consuming. Then if you finally find the part and you receive it, it is quite possible that the threads on your helmet will not match the part. This is very common due to the many manufacturers.

Thank you Tony, Thierry and Sandmann for confirming the difficulties of the thing.

Even without Haarbusche, it's a beautiful helmet. :)
