New Display of Pickelhaubes for 2022

Hi

Did a re-org of some pickels and put them in a date order..........apologies but it's just the way my brain works.

Start with 1856 version of the 1842 haube...then 1860, 1867, 1871,1887, Bavarian 1888, 1871 with 91' knopf, 1891, 1895 and 1914 tin.

top shelf with covers for each change to 1915............(well nearly)

Very nice display! I also had to do something with my helmets display, not that they were not displayed good, but I have 2 young cats accompianing me in a short while. So, to keep things relatively safe, I made some alterations.
Most of you know how it looked before,

But that is too close for 2 young cats growing up. So, the book cabinet is now filled with books again.
Sorry about the somewhat fuzzy picture, taken just now, but this is how it looks now. I'll make better pictures later on.

This is my display in our living room, 10 years ago build to store miscaleneous stuff in the cubbords (low), Books in the middle, and haubes and mutzen on top behind glass to protect from dust and mites with LED strips
( happy my family was okay with this, but no other militaria allowed in living room).
