It's not a hussar. Polrock from the Infantry Regiment 92 Braunschweig.
It's amazing the art of embellishments attached to this skirt. a real work of art by the uniform maker. If you wish, I will also post more pictures of this work of art.

Today I finally get to show detailed pictures of the Polrock. I hope you are satisfied with the quality. Must move some figures away to photograph. Simply not enough space. Now have fun with this work of art. Thank God no one has ever tried to fake something like that !!!

That is a beautiful uniform. This pattern of Polrock was worn from 1867 to 1886 when it was replaced with the Preußen Dunkelblau Waffenrock. These were tailor made, so it must have been expensive, and far too intricate to be discarded by a family. It’s wonderful. Could we see the Braunschweig Kepi as well? I have searched many years for an officer kepi without success.
 
Wonderful. It has many characteristics of British and French tunics of the time. Uniforms certainly were works of art back then.
 
On request, pictures of the hat. It's not in the best condition. But you have to be able to deal with damage from time to time. I would love to have a shako. But I only know of one dealer who has it on offer. For 6500 euros

6500 is a pretty good deal for an officers shako, if you look at the pickelhaubes auction results.
Must be 1st or 2nd battaillon. With skull its priceless, I guess.
