Raupenhelm

I have had this a while, nice helmet but not really my thing , trade for Saxon pickelhauben, M1815 Shako, camo M16, M1915 Pickelhauben ? interesting belt buckles . Try me.

Note the missing brass strip was located.

This is well out of my field of interest or expertise,and not really the era I collect (I’m more WW1), it’s a Bavarian Rauppenhelm, that much I know. I somehow now own it and should pick it up this weekend. Is it good, bad, indifferent?

I wish your Raupenhelm was complete I'd be all over it, but I just can't justify another project. Sadly, they never seem to get done.

Good luck, I'm sure someone will love just to have a representative piece.
