Sandy and his pickelhaube.

The slit at the back has been re-stitched, and now the entire helmet, including the kink at the top, is being straightened. Now there will be a technological break due to the drying of the item.

Dear Wojtek,
I'm really sorry this has become so much extra work. If I'd known that I would have returned the helmet to the seller. But that doesn't matter any more. I'm just happy now that the helmet is in the best hands.

Sandy, that's not a problem. The helmet is nice. I'm just pointing out the previous owner's inappropriate repairs. Repairing this item is a pure pleasure for me.However, summer is the best time for such repairs. It dries very quickly.

The back skin of the visor was glued with some kind of glue.In addition, the holes were thickened with too thick needle and thread. It was very difficult to do something about it.Apart from this shortcoming, the pickelhaube looks phenomenal. The presentation will be made by Sandy because it is his object and his joy.
