Yes, produced years ago for the collector market. Does anyone on the forum know when these were produced and by whom? I have a Prussian one with nearly identical characteristics. Note the small thin brads used to retain the spike base, the unusual spike base itself, and the leather liner color and of course the leather rim trim. Mine has an original brass Prussian wappen and chinstrap posts that were painted a flat grey to match the other hardware. I purchased mine from Manion’s, a well known auction house, in the early 1990’s. I keep mine to represent what relatively good reproduction pickelhaubes can look like.
