Hi all ,and thank you for your kindness.
im living in North East France near Nancy ,if someone knows

There was fierce battles in the very beginning of the war (8/1914)
this was called "La bataille du Grand Couronné" (around the hills of Nancy, and "la trouée de charmes" who opposed a bavarian army crops against the french 20 th corps (my grand-grand father was part of it , in the 69 th infantry rgt)
The first pickel i had, was indeed the one my grand-grand father take at Rozelieures the 26th August 1914, (a bavarian one m1895,very common, but special for me) .
Just for info bavarians suffered more than 2600 losses in and around Rozelieures..
I have this pickelhaube from my grandfather, (his son) and im always asking me,what he would have thought that some years later i would begin a collection of this kind of things .
Excuse me for my bad english, im trying to make me understandable ,and school is already far ,for me
to epsomgreeen : yes i like your haube from Guard Rgt ,i hope to get the same, one day
