Silver Elsass-Lothringen Helmet

Hello

I got today the Helmet, what I know it ist Reichsverwaltung Elsass-Lothringen possible Police. Ist this Officer ?

Why are the Helmet Silver not Gold, specific unit ?. What you think about the 4 rivets on the top, looks inside not orginal.

On seller pictures it looked like the Helmet hast double holes, but has not!. It is only one, too deep for emblem and well allready made in the the production (seam goes over).

I would be happy about any information about the helmet .

For me this police officer helmet is good,only the kokarde do not fit me,but maybe I am wrong? Greetings

It is : Police Wachmeister City of Metz . The Emblem was only used in Metz.

The only point that bothers me, but who knows when that happened. Should i looking for other or not, hmmm

Those rivets do not belong on the helmet. But, it is a very nice helmet as it is.
In fact, I like it a lot. If I were you, I would leave it as is, but if you find the correct neu-silber 4 parts for it, then I would change them.
I can be wrong, but is there an impression in het interior of the helmet, telling us it once had a spike-supportdisc there?
If so, it could explain why that is not there, just like the originals holding the spike on.

Yes you right there was supportdisc. For unknown reason someone has removed it and made new rivets, they are very firm/fixed, it would be not easy to remove them.
