Great to know Thierry. I think this should explain the different regiments.
The M1867 is also a beautiful and correct helmet
. However, acc. to our discussion I’d like to add that only Oldenburg citizens had to wear the Oldenburg cockade. Of course that doesn’t mean every helmet of the IR30/70 should wear an Oldenburg cockade. But if anybody sees an IR30 helmet with Oldenburg cockade, it could be very plausible.
