ErikGood eyes Steve! Yes, that was our table. It was just my Dad and I at the show this year. Neither of my uncles could make it this year.
We spent quite a lot of time in the hobby room this year before the show, as I am really ramping up on building my knowledge base. Had some really great conversations with James and Brian too about pickelhauben. I have tons of books and photos, but nothing like holding a helm in your hand.
Erik
Was it really, very cool. Here is a picture of it back at my place now. It was another one of my favorite SOS pickups, the helmet was one of Bob Palko's.Erik
Good to see you in the photo. I go a long way back.
I have known the Sanders family for years .I knew your grandfather, Paul.
Quite a man and a gentleman. He started your father and the other 2 brothers
into I G collecting .He sure did do a good job of it !
By the way , the 1 Garde Dragoon NCO outfit that you bought from Mike Kelso
was mine at one time .Mike got it from me .That's a nice outfit that you bought.
Best wishes
Steve
