I just completed the restitch on this helmet. The owner provided this information: Manufactured under Swedish contract in the 1890's an enlisted man's helmet from the Norrland Dragoon Regiment. The helmet is in good condition but requires the rear visor to be restitched. Some photos:

This helme has the older style enlisted pearl ring which is later changed to the simpler design we see most often on our helmets. Obviousl, there is a lot of brass on this helmet.

An unusual feature...brass grommets for the bolt on chin scales.

No vent on the rear spine. These photos were taken after the restitch.

The older style square tipped liner and screw post spike base brads. Markings: S2K and 16.
