Trip to Verdun

Verdun and the Argonne: special!!!
La Pompelle: "THE COLLECTION": completely torn apart. Wrong labels etc...They don't want Haube addicts as vollunteers anymore!!
 
Think we went see the collection five times...I got tears in my eyes when I saw the mess they managed to make of it...I am a J-L Larcade addict...so. The Larcade books ARE/were the guide of this collection. Now many great helmets have now been removed. Not even displayed anymore. I was told by one of the staff guys. He was not happy neither. I told him this label is wrong and that one is missing or even dropped...He knew...but was not allowed to do something about it. :x
