The best resource on the web I think is Tony's site
http://www.kaisersbunker.com/

He is not a dealer.

I often use Glenn's site when looking up units.

Hey Joe,
Glenn has another excellent site, that covers Austro-hungarian information.

Tony Cowan has just launched a web site. It is still pretty crude, but it does pictures of helmets and prices. I'm sure some of you will be interested in these pieces. I also think readers of this forum are the first to know. Unfortunately, he didn't put a telephone number or e-mail on the web site. Until he corrects that you can either contact him if you have contact information or you can P.M me and I'll try to hook it up.

Hello all, this is a web site that has helped me out in the past.
http://www.tulipacademy.org/gew/ddhob/
If you click on the armies on the left it will bring up the breakdown of the regiments in color. I put this post in WWI, but it probably should have been posted under web sites of intrest. Hope it helps

Joel,

That is a nice little site! I was not aware of it. Quite interesting looking at his sources. Thanks.

Welcome to the forum! Nice place -- I never stop learning. Do you have any helmets?

Hello Joe,
I have actually been lurking in the shadows of this forum for awhile.
My work never let me have enough time till now. I just purchased my first haube yesterday from age of kings. I've been looking and waiting for just the right one for about two years. It's the Nco Wurttemberg 119th OYV. The younger brother to Tony Kaisers 1871 Wurtt on his web page. His web page and yours are great! So much info so much more to learn. I hope to keep learning (I'm a book guy) and this web page plus all the people here really helps.

Joel,

Congratulations on the purchase! Please post some pictures when you get the helmet.

Tony site is by far the best reference on the net. Mine is much more scattered. Great people here and I am glad you came out of the "lurk mode"!

Absolutely its because of you guys I was able to an informed purchase.
Thanks for your information.

Many of you know about this anyway -- but I am absolutely amazed by what they have done with monuments. Incredible work.

:D :D Hi; I'm wondering if "Regimentals" is still in business. I cannot seem to find there website. I know they are pricey but there was a helmet that I liked. Dick :? :-?

Hi

I don't like regimentals' items at all. Too much restorations and high prices. Just my personal point of view
