Steve, this was a general message to everyone not to be hasty about it. You are right that these parts are worth a lot. There are only a few percent of items that are good for parts only, but it is always worth trying to restore them. If someone is not experienced in such work, you can ask or have experienced people do the repair. Have a nice day.
