M monfort New member Nov 10, 2007 #5 Hi everybody I was looking at this 1887 helmet: - markings are stamped "109" and "1888" = OK - visor = OK - Wappen plate = OK - chinstrap = OK - rear spine: too short, maybe changed? - shell = ???? I got this picture from the seller: Do you see these 2 verticals holes , placed in the front of the shell? It looks like a 1895 shell (with its 2 holes for rear spine) re-issued....???? What do you think about?
