Here is what I have for my Grenadier Regiment 2 group .
No officer helmet as they had no special plate .
G R 2 was raised 1679 II A K and Garrison was Settin
The special collar and cuffs for the officers pre -war
Prussian blue Waffenrock were awarded 4.5. 1897
The wide winged "new " Grenadier eagle front plate
was given 4.5. 1897 also.
The Cypher for King Friedrich Wilhelm IV
was first given 3.12. 1840
the IV was added 3.12. 1861
a la suite to the regiment was Gen.der Infantry von Linsingen
Prince Eitel Friedrich served as a Major
The Regiment Kommander was Oberst. Emmo von Dewitz from 1911 -1914

G R 2 enlisted helmet dated 1915
I doubt the chin strap is correct , that's just the way it came to me

this helmet is Kammer issued in 1909 G.R. 2
I think 2 B 8 C ? I did not think the 8th Co would be in the 2nd Batl ?
