Nicely done, even though it's a repro. It wouldn't really sit well with me if it were standing with my others though; it looks nice and is back in good shape. You're never too old to learn, as you can see.

That little pickelhaube in the photo is also nice; I've been looking for one of those for quite some time too.

Well, the auction is sometimes a gamble; if you take the exchange rate into account, then the auction fees plus auctioneer's fees and shipping, you end up with a high amount. Sometimes I don't understand who buys pieces that make me think, "Wow," and then sometimes pieces that no one bids on...
