Sometimes soldiers made private purchases, this may be one of them as it does not have the slider vent, hence the lack of stamps on the rear visor? Maybe I dont know.
Over to the experts for some help in first identifying the regiments etc, and second what sort of value?
The first one.
The second, I do know that the plate is damaged.
Thanks in advance.
You talk of quality, have seen worse on here so don't knock it. Someone can pick up a bargain, just because its not the quality you expect, it may appeal to others. Some people.
I have this Picklehaube for sale but have no idea of price, so if interested please PM me with a price your willing to pay. Prices does not include postage.
Just want to know if there any restorers in the UK in the group. Going to posting photos of 3 picklehaube's for sale but one needs a bit of restoration to the rear peak.
Thanks for the pointers, I also have 4 Picklehaube's as well which I havent photographed yet. Just going through everything slowly as there is so much. Will post pics soon.
Anyone have any ideas about prices for these. They are all from a newly acquired collection of my father. Most of the helmets and the visor caps were brought/sent back from Germany by his 3 older brothers...
