This pickelhaube is going to be auctioned at an estate sale in my area and I have been unable to identify the front plate. From the issue stamp it appears to be an Armee-Korps (Coblenz) but the front plate is not familiar to me. I know the photo's suck but they came from the auctions website. I...

I'm still a tad confused..what exactly do I have?...From all the responses I gather this is somewhat uncommon. Is it worth the $70 I paid for the helmet and plate?

Hmm..it does not appear to be magnetic by itself but a magnet will stick to it.

It certainly looks like the M15 Grenadier Eagle except for the lack of "koenig"on the Eagle's breast. I have been unable to find any reference to this plate. It came attached to a pickelhaube which was in awful condition, the plate was the only item worth salvaging.

I have been unable to identify this plate but assume it to be Prussian. It is similar to the one used by the Dragoon's but not exact. I would appreciate any help! http://www.ssb6.net/users/28982/jy03-0023.jpg
