We had a couple of good conversations with the son. Our first time meeting him, apparently Dad took him through his Hussar collection before coming to the show.

CANADA TO UNITED STATES SHIPPING DELAYS

Indeed, I pride myself on the fact that this forum unlike others, has not devolved into petty squabbles. There is no need for us to go there. I did have an email from good old Ebay saying that anything valued at $800 or less wouldn't be taxed but who knows??

CANADA TO UNITED STATES SHIPPING DELAYS

This is a small but perfect example of how tariffs really work. The Canadian bought items in the US and was charged a tariff when she crossed the border back into her country. The Canadian paid, not the Americans. The reverse is true now for anything bought by the US from Canada, Mexico or...

More photos: For our friends in the UK A surprising sight....6 dudes dressed up as WW2 Japanese soldiers at the Show. At least they are all interested in Military History. 👍 James sold that Saxe tunic in the foreground! A decent selection of feldgrau straps. A nice neusilber tschapka...

    My SOS 25 Purchases

Thanks everyone! There were very few helmets at the Show that James and I saw except for the dealers like Weitse and A of K. I saw quite a few sub standard Prussian M15's and a couple of Bavarians.

    Is this worth it?

Thanks Coert, I come from the time before computers were in every home! :) If you say the strap is original then the price for this would be reasonable in my opinion. A person with deep pockets would simply buy it for the strap and then flip it.

    My SOS 25 Purchases

My purchases at SOS 25 were limited, I did by a scrapper M15 Prussian (crushed top, red rot liner) from Alan S on my way out the door on Sat afternoon! Thanks again Alan, but other than that only 2 primary pieces (wappen) for my collection. I was more interested in selling things which I had...

    Is this worth it?

Unfortunately, the first 5 photos remain as thumb nails and can’t be enlarged for a better look. 😕 An original chin strap sells now for $250-300 US if you can find one. I can not tell whether this is original or not. No kokarden makes me think that the strap is not original?
