Image filesize limit was set to 1MB, I've just gone ahead and raised it to 8MB. Might make it higher later but hopefully this is enough for now.

Migration has been completed (a day early no less, went surprisingly smoothly). I've checked and everything seems to be working as far as I can tell (including photo uploading) but do let me know if you hit any issues.

I've just gone ahead and removed some of the banned IPs which I believe were affecting legitimate users. Fingers crossed this has helped some of you who were affected.

Just noticed that there were a few CloudFlare IPs on the ban lists - unfortunately if these IPs are banned it could result in legitimate users losing access to the site as there's a decent chance your traffic gets routed via the same endpoints. I've removed the affected IPs from the ban list...

Should be fixed now - was an issue with IPv6 with the network provider. IPv4 was unaffected, hence why the issue may have been intermittent / affected some and not others.

That's certainly strange - can you link me to a post where this has happened? Also worth mentioning that you don't have to click the add images button to add them to the post - once they're attached if you haven't explicitly added them to a specific part of the post it'll show them at the bottom.

I'll investigate when I've got some more free time. For the time being I've bumped the thumbnails up to 300x300 and allowed them to show side by side.

Certainly an understandable concern but with the decreasing cost of storage and the availability of solutions such as Amazon S3 (where we're storing uploaded files now) it's certainly not the issue it once was. I'll be monitoring the situation of course but to be honest if they're only a few...

Worth mentioning that users can now attach pictures to posts on the forum without having to host them elsewhere.

If you click 'Quick Links' there's an option under there called 'unread posts'.

Ah yes - I have gone ahead and changed the icons to be a bit more clear, though it may take some time for the caches to refresh. With any luck refreshing your browser a few times may make it pick them up.
