Yes but has potential. Rust can be removed(in most cases) and dents can be banged out but parts can be a long wait. It could be a nice project for someone who is into projects. I need a Kürassier spike actually. :-k

I researched that stamp for a hour or so and I couldn't connect the dots. It should read something like KBAG or .G.R.z.F., something like that.

That one is nice! :o The colors definitely would indicate Train Feldmutze. I read two dates inside, 1917 and 1916. I can't make out what it reads right above the 1917 stamp. The Corps stamp BA VII would indicate regiment Westfalische Train-Abteilung Nr.7 Munster

You have to get that book! and especially for you collecting wartime headgear. It is worth every penny. I find myself going back to that book more than any other book in my collection and I have about 100 books.
