Very interesting and rare helmet cover. Helmet covers from the Guard are difficult to find.

Thanks very much, Festwagner. I have quite a few covers (bit of an obsession!), but that is the earliest, and only issued one with Guard stamps I have. I have an artillery officer’s cover with red manoeuvre band that is named to an officer in a Garde Artillerie Regiment as well.
