Can I ask for an opinion on this one as well pleaseIt's difficult to say for sure without access to the back of the T.K. But:
---The "Fuerst" eagle is for an officer.
---The T.K. is for an enlisted man.
First point of interest.
Next, I really don't like the two folding tabs; I much prefer threaded rods and square nuts.

Can I ask for an opinion on this one as well pleaseit has the threaded rods.....plus I have pics if the back.....a strange G....hopefully not for galvanised

Very nice.
A minor detail I have not seen before: on this second plate, it seems that the part of the eagle chest that is hidden by the skull is bare (no feathers). Can you confirm from the front view?
A plate strictly adapted to IR92?...
That is a very good question, there are several smooth spots on the back of the second Eagle pictured, is this consistent with other known examples of this type of Eagle?
I personally do not have an Officers IR 92 Helmet so can I please ask are the Skulls attached to the Eagle at the same to points as the other ranks?
If so, are there also differences between the Eagles other than the Crowns.
Thanks in advance to anyone who has these answers,
I'm waiting for a pic of front of Eagle discussed above with the skull removed. Will post it at weekend.
I am afraid the number of people who think they own an original, are a multiple of produced original helmets…Looking forward to seeing the pictures. Thanks
I think that the handful of people in the world who may actually have an original IR 92 Officers Pickelhaube know the answers to my questions and are protective of the that information and rightly so.
Just how many were produced and then again how many have survived. The last thing anyone wants to do is give the fakers out there the secrets to how to make the perfect repro.
