One era that I love to collect images of is the short-lived time period of the Provisional Reichswehr. They are not common, so to stumble upon them is always a nice surprise.

Note the sleeve insignia on the middle man, three Prussian Blue rings (Vizefeldwebel).

I like photos of Police specialty units from this time period. Here are a few photos of Police Dog Handlers from Hesse during the time of the Weimar Republic. This includes a "Dog Tag" conveying police authority for the dog.

Thank you, sir! The ones with the sleeve insignia are extremely rare as it was only used from spring until fall of 1919. Very short window!
