Mike's collection is beyond believe.
Years ago before I knew who he was , Kube had at action
the Waffenrock of Crown Prince Wilhelm for Grenadier Regt 1
I placed a crazy high bid and was left in a cloud of dust
I later found out that it was Mike Cramer who outbid me
I didn't stand a chance !
Mike made his money in the sports card business
He is kind to share photos of his collection
that most can only dream about

Beautiful uniform set. I wonder if the KR2 helmet is the Crown Prince’s that sold in Kube a few years back?

From what I have been told Mike is a regular buyer at the Kube auctions
I have 2 collector friends that have seen and talked with him there
He goes in person
he was a buyer of a lot of the Brant collection of uniforms head to toe

I would put Brunswick epaulettes from Inf.Reg.92 on the jacket. It doesn't get any better.It doesn't matter if it was a prince.

I have exchanged a few emails with Mike
I think that he does allow collectors to see his collection
back in 2005 my wife and I were in Seattle to visit my best friend
from high school .If I had know Mike then
I am sure that I could have seen his collection then
After I found out that he had bought the Waffenrock of Crown Prince Wilhelm
for Grenadier Regt 1
Mike told me that he had a Hohenzollern house neck order reported
to have been the one of C P Wilhelm
and he wanted to have the Waffenrock to display the house order on it
I did see 2 San Fran collections back in 2004 and 2005

Beautiful Kaisersammler ! The IR 92 mannequin is exactly what I am looking for to add in my collection. Altough I will probably start by a "regular" regiment.

It took me a while but I finally located the photos
of the K R 2 Koller when it was in the collection of my friend .
It's hard to tell but it looks like the same one to me .
Mike has the kurass over it
and my friend didn't
both show the ringkragen
but Mike has it a trophy on the kurass
one thing is for sure
the epaulettes are NOT the same
Mike looks like a Rittmeister
and my friend had the rank of Major
I ended up with only the framed & autographed
photo of C P Wilhelm only
I still have it
What do you think ?

Note that when my friend owned it
we see a lot of medal loops on the Koller

Thank you very much for finding these photos, I have added them to my own archives. Same to me I cannot really tell if its the same tunic or not, however I see some white and silver dots on the tunic collar braid of Mike's, that looks like some minor damages to me. But these are not found on the tunic you posted. Or that may just be lighting issues with photos. It's also not surprising that crown prince have many tunics of a single regiment for regular wear, we see a lot of photos showing him wearing the KR2 uniforms. They are both very beautiful Kollers.
