The Kaiser’s Prize (Kaiserschiessabzeichen)

While the case was open , I wanted to show a couple of more Kaiser Prizes
One with 3 wins
and the other shows the old way they added an extra date

In the Stauffer auction April 13
was a reserve photo of a soldier from I R 31
with copies of his 1909 Kaiser Prize
much like the one Willie posted some time back
I R 31 was " The King of Kaiser Prize Winners "

From what can be seen in this vintage catalog, it is that if single dates are sold, it is because there were badges without numbers so that the corresponding date could be added later.

I added the double date Infantry Kaiser Prize badges into my display today
and took a photo
here it is 1895 to 1913
I saw a 1914 which was never an official badge
but it could be added to the group
however I was outbid

Some double date prizes are as follows
1900-1904 old style with the second date below the badge won by
the Bavarian I R 21 / 3 Kp
1905 -1906 won by the Bavarian Leib I R / 11 Kp another old style
1907 -1908 won by the Wurttemberg I R 124 / 9 Kp
