    Prussian Infantry Officer's Helmet

Hmm...what makes you all think it is a fake? I am aware that someone replaced the leather and buckle on the back of the chinscales (poorly), but the chinscales themselves got the thumbs up from some fairly good sources. v/r Wolf

    Prussian Kugelhelm

Hello all, I started on M777A2s at Fort Wainwright, AK; and now I am in a HIMARS unit at JBLM, WA. My skill is truly as a fire supporter. And in a previous life, I was used to assist in recruiting for the National Guard...on paper an infantryman...and in truth, not. How odd about the...

    Help Identifying this Kugelhelm!

Thanks all---that pic was from before I purchased it. Here are some updated pictures. It is a stunning helmet for sure, but I'm still researching it. As I understand it is is a cut down of an earlier helmet turned into a 1871.

It is very beautiful, and I would like a good description on it as I add it to my growing Artillery museum.

Hi everyone: I have recently decided that my new pickelhaube desire is for a model 1842. Has anyone come across one that is intact, and does anyone know where I could purchase one? What do these things go for? v/r Wolf-Ekkehard

    Prussian Infantry Officer's Helmet

Cheers, all! I listed this nice example of a Prussian Infantry Officer's helmet on ebay, but I could use some help identifying the model. It's a nice helmet, but I primarily collect Field Artillery helmets--and a few exceptional pieces from other branches...
