    One of the most iconic, in my opinion, german headgear was and remain the M1904 pith helmet. Here is an example for an enlisted man of the infantry brigade in China.

    This particular model was was approved in 1900 and introduced in 1901. The leather body is covered with a field grey cloth. Only the visor and neck-guard are painted feldgrau.

    To break the ice let's start with a small thing. It is an album of stickers that was given away for advertising purposes by the tobacco company Bilderdienst of Dresden. Yes, it is a small thing of little value but which for me has a considerable exotic charm.
