SOS 2010

This is the first draft of this year's T-shirt. No one but me liked the baseball shirts.-- I am open to changes -- the price is right...

Let me know what you think.

Hey Joe,
How about a vest, that way James would not have to get naked during the show

Excellent Joe...these will become collectables in themselves after we all croak! Who the hell has that helmet?? Is it yours?? Anyway quite a rare bird. I would like a shirt even though I can not be there. If possible please save me a large. Let me know cost and I will send the cash. If I cant be there in person at least I will have a connection to all those who were there. As far as a naked James...hmmmm not so sure on that one Gus is sooo European! All the best, Brian

I want the helmet, if you could give me a receipt, then I can pick it up next time I pop over to Germany.
That is the way the $300 surplus jeep deal worked, you would give the salesman $3,000 (you had to buy a minimum of 10 jeeps) and he would give you a receipt to present to the nearest army base to get your jeeps, unfortunately, the Army Brass did not cooperate, and would not turn over the jeeps
Best
Gus

We have books, other crap, Kaiser beer, DVDs from the great war society, our luggage, us,the dog. Yes we are taking the dog this year. My left hand no longer works very well so the dog has to earn her keep.

It is in a museum in Germany. We will send you a shirt... our treat. God bless.

Joe, why not ask someone each year from the this forum if you can use a Haube photo from the "latest Find" thread". There are some amazing pieces every year in their, all from members.

That is such a cool Idea, let's start with one of Tony's and then we can raffle it off at the show.
All jokeing aside, that is really a great idea, as it makes the helmet on the T shirt more "real"
Gus

T-shirts are done and on the way to Texas. There is nothing on the back. I have had some e-mails from people who want the T-shirt but will not be attending the show. It is our intent to give the attendees T-shirts and I guess T-shirt wearing day will be Friday.

If you want to buy a T-shirt and will not be attending you can do so at:
http://www.cafepress.com/coljs
Unfortunately you have to pay for it.

Okay boys and girls,

The German restaurant is reserved for Wednesday 17 February at six o'clock. Yes it is a little bit earlier which will give us time afterwards for all that transpires on Wednesday night. That is also when the restaurant opens so we will have immediate seating. We will probably be able to work out any conflicts with the table packets, if they exist, earlier in the day.

Gus, I agree with the shirt printing problem but these guys have changed ownership and the current owner is not a native English speaker. He has some strange business ideas in my opinion but I am only the customer.

Joe - no worries on table packets, I just got confirmation today, and I can pick them up at 3:00 that day.

James

Thanks for all your great efforts in organizing things Joe! Looks like you've done a fantastic job on the t-shirts also! It will be nice to see you, and everyone else on here who'll be at the show in a few short weeks. My mouth is watering thinking about that great German food already!

All the Best,

Alan Schaefer

Thanks for the shirt Joe! Whose the lovely "Babe" with the dog in that pic?? I also think T's idea is a fantastic one, we certainly do have access to some rare birds in our members collections. There is many a museum, that would love to have some of the pieces that are shown here. All the best guys and have a great show. Brian
