Another M15 Tschako

Post by 911car » Wed Jun 17, 2015 6:46 pm

Condition is not pristine. Metal parts have superficial rust, but the Tschako is genuine, all original and untouched, therefore still likeable... At least this is my opinion. You may think differently though. I won't be upset...

Likeable? Let's call it desirable!

Yes....I would snap that up in a New York minute!!! I would grab it, hold tight and throw the money on the table! One last thing, OR M 95 tschakos seem to be quite rare here on this side of the Atlantic. I have never seen one for sale and never owned one. Tony of course has one in his collection.

I sure do like this helmet .
I love those battle honors
I once saw a collection of a Col. Charles Hillman .
We were at the Baltimore Gun Show
He let a few of us collectors over
to his house to see his collection
He had a basement full off helmets
It seems that 3 or 4 of the J B 10 in Feldgrau

He was stationed in Germany and bought
whatever helmets that he saw .

I took photos but that was back in the day
when I was shooting 35mm color slides
I need to find them .

Any chance you could resend the pictures Bruno ?
Just started blindfolded archery, best thing I've ever done, if you've not tried it. You don't know what your missing.
