M1915 Cuirassier helmets/wappen
M1915 by C.E. Junker with smaller Line style eagle/wappen
M1915 by Damaschke with smaller Line style wappen
M1915 made by Lachman with small Line wappen
Pulling helmets from boxes in prep for our move at the end of the month. Was looking at the type and size of of the wappen and found that one of my Junker cuirassier helms is of the larger wappen style as seen on this makers earlier helmets, in brass.
What is the consensus on these M1915 cuirassier helmets as far as wappen go? Is the small Line eagle considered okay and a wartime manufacturers prerogative on these?
Just curious. I know a lot of wappen got moved around during the bond drives and by collectors over the years.
Thanks and S/F,
Bryan.
