Young(ish) Collector’s Collection
Hello! I have been a collector for about 5 years now, I am 21 and collect from the First World War, my collection consists of all countries but lately I’ve been primarily collecting Imperial German. I’ve only one Pickelhaube at the moment, a Prussian M15 marked to the 30th Pionier Regiment. I have a couple of stahlhelms as well but I would like to continue collecting more Pickelhaubes and Shakos as well. Thank you for welcoming me into the community!

Great collection and a very nice display! Nice to see a younger collector. Welcome!

Re: Young(ish) Collector’s Collection
Hot damn! That is a sweet collection for 21 years on the planet! All I had at 21 was a WW1 CEF bayonet dated 1917 that my Mom bought for me when I was 16! I bought my first Prussian M15 haube when I was 35!
You are in good company Michael...welcome!

Thank you very much for your kind words! I've been in the market for an M95 or perhaps a Shako for a while now but the market has been tough! Hopefully I'll have something new to display soon enough!

Re: Young(ish) Collector’s Collection
Welcome, great start. At 21 I had a full collection of military stuff and was being paid to wear it.

You have a pretty good start for someone who is 21!
Keep on adding to what you have, but also preserving it, especially items that can dry-rot and rust.
Thanks for posting! I look forward to seeing it grow in the years to come
Best regards,
John
