I have what I suspect is an incomplete manners mark on a leather strap ( 08/15 Sling) the marking reads E. de la Croix Berlin 1918 Can anyone confirm the makers name? I know someone had a list of makers markings a while back. Regards Andrew

This followed me home today model of 1868 Rupennhelme, for artillery and Chevaulegers. It needs a bit of love but for its age it’s in reasonable order. There’s a brass strip missing, the “caterpillar “ is detached and an additional pompom is missing from above the cockade.

This is well out of my field of interest or expertise,and not really the era I collect (I’m more WW1), it’s a Bavarian Rauppenhelm, that much I know. I somehow now own it and should pick it up this weekend. Is it good, bad, indifferent? Thanks in advance Andrew
