    Clean or not to clean?

    Hello all. Need advice regarding my helmets........should I try to clean up and polish my helmets or leave them the way they are with the Patina? Also, any tips on what to use if I clean them like leather polish, brasso, etc..? Thanks in advance.

    Correct me if I'm wrong, a Hessen pickelhaube should have a fluted spike and cruciform base. There is one on ebay with a smooth spike and round base. Thanks for any help.
